Parent Speaker Series: Internet Safety

Monday, April 22, 2024

6:30pm – 8:00pm

According to Bark, a nationally recognized online monitoring software, nearly 40 percent of kids in grades 4-8 have reported they connected or chatted online with a stranger. How confident are you in who your children are interacting with online?

We invite you to listen to a local family who will share their firsthand experience about the dark side of the internet and how you as a parent or guardian can gain invaluable insights on how to protect your family. Tamia and Tim, from the Do It For James Foundation, offer their time, knowledge, and passion for keeping our children and community safe. You’re invited to listen and ask questions!

Due to the sensitive nature of this topic, we do not recommend any children attend this event.

This event is also being offered virtually. You can register for the virtual option here.
